ZoneMeetup

Privacy & cookies

Your meeting calculations run in your browser. This page explains what stays on your device, what a shared link reveals, and what happens when you contact us.

Who publishes this site?

ZoneMeetup is an independently published, free international scheduling utility. For support or privacy questions, contact our public support address kout@me.com.

Calculations and calendar files

Time conversion, work-hour comparison, holiday calculations and document creation run in this browser. Importing a busy-calendar ICS file reads it locally in a browser worker. We do not upload that file, its event titles, attendees or busy intervals to a ZoneMeetup server. The imported overlay is temporary: reloading or changing teams can clear it. Downloaded PDF, HTML, ICS and JSON files are created on your device; you control any copies you share.

Saved teams and device storage

When you explicitly save a team, its name, participant labels, zones and configured schedules are stored in this browser’s local storage. Team data stays until you delete it in Saved teams or clear this site’s browser data. Export a JSON backup first if you want to keep it. There is no account or cloud synchronization. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to read saved teams.

Shared links and calendar drafts

A shared plan places zones, work schedules, date and selected time after the # in its URL. Personal participant labels and imported busy calendars are excluded. Event links contain an instant, an optional duration and a title only when you choose to include it. Anyone with the complete link can decode those included details. URL fragments are not part of ordinary HTTP requests to our host, but full links can remain in browser history, messages, extensions and the services where you paste them.

Google Calendar and Outlook draft links send the event details shown by the action to the provider you choose. Opening a draft is optional; ZoneMeetup does not connect your account or send invitations. Email links open your email application. The email you send is handled by your email provider and our support mailbox.

Hosting and data sources

Cloudflare delivers and protects the site. Ordinary requests expose connection information to the host, such as IP address, request path/query, user agent and time. Hosting or security logs may be processed under the host’s configuration; we do not promise a specific log-retention period. Avoid placing private content in URL query parameters. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Fonts, photos, scripts and cached city/holiday/reference data are served with the site. Looking up a city or holiday loads our local data files; it does not send your search text to GeoNames, Google or a holiday API. Source links navigate to the named publisher only when opened. Browser/OS timezone rules can be outdated; source diagnostics explain their limits.

Cookies, advertising and analytics

Advertising and external analytics are currently disabled. Publisher ownership verification alone does not load ads.

When advertising is enabled, Google AdSense and its partners receive requests from the selected public information pages. These requests can include IP address, page URL, browser/device information and cookies or similar identifiers used to deliver and measure advertising. Google-managed messages provide applicable consent and opt-out choices; optional storage and personalized advertising depend on those choices and applicable rules. Loading the Google code and its choice interface involves network requests. See how Google uses information from partner sites and Google’s privacy policy.

Our tools, imported files, private results, exports and legal pages remain free of advertising code. We do not send their contents to Google or add Google Analytics. Hosting/security cookies may still be used by Cloudflare when required. You can revisit Privacy and cookie settings from any page to change applicable advertising choices; Google also supplies its own consent-revocation or Do Not Sell or Share controls where applicable. Clearing browser data can remove saved choices, which may be requested again.

Advertising is restricted to the meeting and daylight-saving guides in English and Arabic.

Equipment links and shortlist

The equipment guide contains affiliate links to exact products on Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Opening a product link sends Amazon your ordinary connection information and the product identifier and our Associates tag in the destination URL. Amazon handles its own cookies, accounts, purchases and privacy choices. We do not send your meeting inputs, searches, participant labels or calendar files in these links. See Amazon’s privacy notice.

Equipment search and filtering happen in your browser without sending the query to a service. Selecting Shortlist stores up to three product identifiers in local storage under zonemeetup.equipment.v1. Clear shortlist removes this record; clearing this site’s browser data also removes it. This selection is separate from your saved teams. We do not record product clicks or send affiliate analytics from this page.

Contact, choices and retention

We use support messages to investigate and reply to requests. Do not email private calendar files unless they are necessary and you choose to share them; a minimal example is usually enough. Support correspondence may be retained as needed to resolve the issue and maintain a record; no fixed retention promise is made. Ask about access, correction or deletion of correspondence at kout@me.com. We cannot remotely recover or erase data held only in your browser; use Saved teams or your browser’s site-data controls.

We will revise this notice when processing changes. Last updated: 5 October 2026.

Keeping inputs when you change language

When you switch language in the equipment or holiday tools, this tab temporarily stores its filters or calendar inputs in session storage. The destination page reads and deletes the draft; drafts expire after two minutes. The draft is not added to a URL or sent to us.

Aggregate hosting statistics

We can read aggregate request and error counts already provided by Cloudflare hosting. These counts include assets, automated requests and testing; they do not measure individual people or successful tool uses. Our report does not request URLs, IP addresses, referrers, device identifiers or your input. Browser analytics and ad serving remain disabled.
